Dec. 2016 Top 5 Running Playlist
BY STEFANIE V.
DEC. 21, 2016

When I’m on solo runs, I love listening to music. Running has been a great way for me to discover new songs and artists and revisit old favorites. So, I’m going to write a post at the end of each month with my top five most listened to tunes.

My favorite genres include ska and pop/punk, which you’ll see appear a lot. Feel free to suggest something new on this post, and next month you might see some new songs appear!

December 2016 was all about ska for me. Reel Big Fish got me through a 13.1-mile treadmill running torture fest. Turn the Radio Off and Candy Coated Fury were both played in their entirety. most likely because I just saw RBF in Nov. 2016 in Marietta, Ohio. If you’ve never been to one of their shows, you’re missing out.

Without further discussion, here are five songs I played most often while hiding in my headphones.

1. “Tom Sawyer”

Artist: Rush

2. “I Dare You to Break My Heart”
